Hints
Please dedicate a bit of your time to carefully go through the following paragraphs before booking our services or if you intend to acquire a voucher. We are proceeding on the assumption that you have read and understood these pages and have also accepted all conditions mentioned herein when placing your booking. If you acquire one of our offers with the intention to give it away to a third party, please make sure that the said person will receive a copy of our conditions of participation and fully understands the importance of being aware of its content.
Registration
In principle it is necessary to fill in one of our application forms in advance. Depending on the event you are interested in, this should be done at least two to four weeks before the event takes place. The fee charged for one of our services or a gift token is due for payment either in cash, via banking transfer, or via bank check at registration. All our
fees can be taken from the respective price lists. The prices are included the legal VAT. During services abroad the payment for tax take after §3 A Abs. 2 Nr. 3 A USTG. As for courses or travelling organised by us a payment in two installments is possible, but the last installment has to be in our possession or on our bank account at the latest two weeks before the start of the event. Reservations can also be made on the phone but must be confirmed in writing within one week after the verbal reservation was made. At the same time payment of the respective
fee has to be carried out. Otherwise the reservation is considered to be void without any further notification on our part.
Vouchers
Vouchers can be acquired in our office, on the phone or in writing via fax, internet or postal mail. At registration we will provide you with our actual list of events and dates. The recipient of a voucher only has to contact us two to four weeks before the event and date chosen from this list in order to confirm his/her participation. Of course we will also send vouchers by mail. In this case the voucher will be immediately sent to the recipient after receipt of payment or a valid bank certification thereof. We do, however, not assume any liabilty for shipping delays or loss of postal mail. In order to exclude these risks we will be glad to mail the token
via express mail or registered letter against payment of the additional costs.
In case of loss of gitf token: Please inform us as soon as possible of the loss so that we can arrange for a replacement after having received a signed notice of loss.
As regards validity of the credit on the token there is a time limitation over 12 month.
Dates
The dates for most of the services/events offered can be taken from the respective list. As for individual or strongly weather dependant activities like paragliding, balloon trips , stunt flights or sightseeing flights in the Alps an individual appointment has to be made. For such an appointment we would like to ask you to get in contact with us several weeks in advance in order to meet your wishes. Since all our events are subject to very
imponderable Central European weather, we sometimes have to cancel or postpone them on short notice. In order to avoid unnecessary travelling we would like to ask you to call us on the last working day before the event is scheduled to take place to check practicability. By then we will have quite reliable weather forecasts. Of course, we will also try to reach you if the date of the event has to be changed. We can not be held liable for expenses due to unnecessary travelling or any other expenses caused by the cancellation of the respective event.
Conditions for participation
Participation in our events does not require an extremely high physical condition. Under normal circumstances an average state of health and a stable physical constitution are enough. For participating in an AFF training you do, however, need a medical certificate. If above health conditions are fulfilled, there is no maximum age for participation. A minimum age is however required in the following events: 12 years for balloon flights and flight tours in the Alps, 14 years for tandem jumps and paragliding, 15 years for AFF-training and other skydiving events as well as for stunt flights. The body weight of the participant should not be over 100kg; for tandem jumps 85kg is the maximum weight. Please do not hesitate to ask us if you are not sure whether you fulfill the physical conditions for participation. In case of doubt the decision over participation solely lies with the responsible crew members on site.
Insurance
Within the framework of German statuory regulations participants in our events, as well as our aireal sports equipment and our aircrafts are insured as follows:
- passenger liability insurance up to 600,000 Euros for personal injurythird-party insurance up to 3,000,000 Euros aviation liability insurance depending on type of aircraft from 1,500,000 to 9,000,000 Eurosin case of invalidity / death 25,000 Euros
Any insurance beyond the above regulations shall be the sole responsibilty of the participant.
Cancellation and exchange
In case you will not be able to participate in one of our events after the date of your participation
has already been confirmed on your side, please inform us as soon as possible of your non-participation.
As for tandem jumps, paragliding, balloon flights and all flight tours there shall be no cancellation fee
if non- participation has been announced up to 5 days before the date and event reserved. After this point
of time the cancellation fee shall amount to 25 Euros.
Larger groups of 4 persons ore more have to cancel their already fixed participation at least 10 days before
the date of the respective event. In case of later cancellation the above fee shall be charged per person. Vouchers shall be void at cancellation of participation. A new gift token shall be issued after receipt of your cancellation fee. If payment for a certain event has already been effected it is possible to exchange this firm booking for another event organised by our company. An exchange of participants is also possible. In these cases the nominal value of the payment already made will be deducted from the fee to be charged for the new reservation. A reypayment shall, however, be excluded.
Liabilty
In connection with our services we shall only be liable for damage caused by malice aforethought or gross negligence on our part. Particpants shall be held responsible for caused damage not covered within the framework of legally mandatory insurance regulations. In case of damage caused by the particpant in malice aforethougt, gross negligence or in case of an offence against legal regulations the said person shall be held fully liable.
Important information regarding order of the event
Each of our events is meant to be an experience and a pleasure for you. Thus, we would like to ask you to take enough time for journey, preparation and subsequent handling or possible delays. For tandem jumps you should in general plan for a whole day - for all other events half a day should at least be taken into consideration. On the day of the event and the evening before no alcoholic beverages should be consumed. A light meal in the morning will make you fit for the day. EXIT will provide you with all necessary equipment on site. Please dress comfortably according to the respective weather conditions. As for footwear, stable and sneakers are ideal. Timly order and allocation of aircrafts on site will be the sole responsibility of our crew members.
If possible we will be glad to take your special wishes into consideration. If you plan to do a tandem jump it will be possible to have this unique experience exclusively filmed by one of our employees. EXIT shall not be held responsible for the quality of this shooting. In rare cases it can become necessary to change the airfield planned and announced for take-off for organizational reasons . This shall not entitle the participant to cancel his/her firm booking if the alternative take off-location can be reached by car within 2 hours.
